Doesn't it sound extremely worth heralding that in this tech dominated world a CEO of Yahoo is a woman of steel mind and mettle! Carol Bartz is really a person to look up as a role model in this era. Only thing that held her high till now is her terrible determination and guts. Those who know about Carol.A.Bartz will feel proud and those who come to know about this personality will bow their head with respect and love. Carol is a bundle of fragility and steel as the corporate world demands!

As every great personality has a rough patch of life Carol also had her share. Carol was born on August 29, 1948 in Minnesota. She lost her mother when she was eight years old! Carlos had to care of her younger brother at eight! Father of Carol used a belt as a weapon to maintain discipline. At last Carol's grand mother took these two kids under her custody and showered love and kindness over them.

Carol chose to study algebra and physics which were considered as toughest subjects. She broke the barrier by selecting them. Carol took up a job as bank secretary while she was in school. That time her earning was 75 cents per hour! She earned her trust, fame and affection of the fellow workers along with money. Her managers help her in getting scholarship of Fulton college in Missouri.

Being brave girl, Carol earned BA degree with computer science in 1971.She faced many troubles in her career but did not give up, successfully kept fire in her belly very much alive! Carol became the CEO of Autodesk in 1992. Then she bought the same company in 1993, from then she never looked back. In her tenure of 14 years, she transformed the company into a best revenue earning company. She was detected for breast cancer but Carol put up a brave fight! Cancer had to bow down in front of her rock steady determination.

Carol Bartz joined Yahoo in January 2009. She addressed her yahoo employees in a trend setting way. She told them to look forward for company's 'kick ass' growth. Her approach towards marketing is held high. At the age of sixty she is going stronger and works with sheer determination which brings sure shot results. Her management is considered as matchless. Be it problem solving or taking risks. This high profiled Carol values her family the most in her life, she is also loves gardening.

Throughout her life she has faced multiple personal and professional challenges including blatant gender discrimination but refuses to play the role of victim and give in to circumstances. By sheer will and determination, Bartz began shaping her life's path from an early age. She has taken the business world by surprise and force. A self-made woman entrepreneur, Bartz is still breaking barriers today even as she enters into her 60s.Carol faced personal and professional challenges very sternly never giving up easily.
